Weekly Up-Date

Lets see, not much to report this week, I feel like I've got to clear out some unfinished projects, get my living room back in order and finally have my coffee table back in its right spot instead of pushed to the north wall while it supports our tv. The cabinet is almost finished and I'm bound and determined to have ZERO mice under it this time. Blah!

I think I wound up with Thrush...gross I know....since Monday I felt like my mouth just wasn't clean. You know the feeling when you have plaque on your teeth and you just have to brush it off? Well that's what it felt like all over my gums, the back of my throat, under my tongue. I felt like I just needed to keep brushing my teeth, well I finally looked back there and saw that I had little red bumps all over my throat. I wasn't sore at all like a typical sore throat feels. Its going away now, which I think it was stress induced.

Next week we take Owen to an ENT. We are having his tonsils checked out because of their size. They're HUGE! No wonder he snores all the time, poor kid has no room to breath.

Aubrey is walking all over the place and babels while she walks. What a doll, I'm trying to get her attached to a toy that she just loves. Owen has his teddy bear which he sleeps with every night. I feel like Aubrey needs to have her special toy like Owen. Funny, I don't know why that's important to me, but I love it when we wrap up one of her stuffed dolls and she hugs it tightly.

Aubrey is a fan of any type of animal. Nana has kittens at her house and Aubrey gravitates to them like a magnet. She picks one up, hugs it, and throw it downs on the ground. She really has no concept of how deathly tight she holds on to these kittens. I'm always cringing that's she going to strangle it. We went to a hardware supply store yesterday and they had bunnies and chicks we could pet. Well I picked up a chick for Aubrey to pet and she lurched her fingers forward squeezing its neck. AHHH, why can't she do that to the mice in our house! :) Would help the amount of mice traps we set. :)

That's all for now, here's to the Memorial Day Weekend!
