Valentine's Day has come and gone, but here's a little re-cap on the holiday.
Several days prior to Valentine's Day we made messes with colored pencils, glue, sticky hearts, and bulldozer valentines. Owen's attention span was extremely short with coloring, but he had a great time playing with the glue stick.
Remember the days when you smeared Elmer's glue all over your hand, let it dry and then pretended like you had leprosy and peeled off a "sheet of skin?"
I have a feeling Owen will LOVE that discovery!
The actual day of Valentines was filled with work, Dr.'s Appointments, grocery shopping, and the regular weekly activities. However, when we made it home Hyrum surprised me with a BEAUTIFUL arrangement of flowers. THIS IS HUGE. The last time Hyrum bought me flowers was almost 10 years ago. Its a running joke in our marriage that flowers went by the wayside as soon as we were sealed. Don't get me wrong Hyrum spoils me in much more permanent ways--i.e. clothing, get-a-ways, easels, which I think I prefer, but it was a treat and still is to have this arrangement on our kitchen table!
What did Hyrum get you may ask.....once pretty nasty chincy shirt that I thought was cool online.
Ahhhh, great night!
