Happy Brithday to Owen! What a great day we had celebrating his first birthday. Our families came over, we had a little BBQ with mini burgers and cheeses, avocado, pineapple, bacon, dressings, all good things that belong on a beef patty. We had the pool outside and enjoyed a really quite pleasant day for the evening hours of summer. Owen loved his gifts from the family and plays with everyone of them.
So far Owen is:
Walking like champ. He looks like a toy soilder.
Starting to eat dirt like a champ--makes me sick! Grrrr!
Saying "Mama" "Dada" "Nana" (Banana & Nana), "Baa" (Ball) "Hi" "Hot"
Wining when I walk out of the room
Drinking the remaining bathtub water as it drains
Playing hide-and-seek like a champ
Pulling your neck hair when you hold him
Eating more dirt
Stacking his blocks instead of thrashing them--wait no, he still thrashes
Building a very long attention span for reading books--HURRAY!!!
Sleeping nearly 12 hours
Phasing out of his 2nd nap
and
Eating more dirt
That's our OWEN!
