Oooo-weeee snow!!!
The first week in November I headed home to help Mom recover from hip replacement surgery. While visiting we experienced a little precurser to winter. I'd like to think I'm a prepared and careful Mom with Owen, but snow boots is not something I just keep handy in my diaper bag. Thanks to Dad/Grandpa he pulled out the winning combination: plastic baggies, two rubber bands,
viola instant snow boots!
Hmmm, I wonder if we could just use gallon size plastic baggies next time to make boots and snow pants.
Owen had a great time mashing, eating, throwing, and stomping the snow.
(Isn't it funny how kids don't care about the hot or cold. I was FREEZING and ready to go inside after about 3 minutes. Owen didn't care one bit, he could have stayed outside all morning).
Grandpa and Owen
Thanks Dad for venturing out in the cold with Owen!
And a side note: Owen's feet were nice and dry when we took off the snow boots.
