Owen hit the 9 month mark! Although most of the pictures on this post are Owen at 8 months, he's basically the same. Lately he jabbers and growls. Not sure where the growling came from, maybe he's picking up on the coyotes we hear at night. He says "Da-da-d-a-da Da-DA-ddddaaaa-DDDDAAAA-dda-da" all day long while pitter pattering on his hands and knees around the house.
Glued to Enchanted
(I'm amazed that the very begining of this show can hold his attention for a full 15 minutes!)
Doors, cupboards, electrical cords, and our weight set are still the toys of choice for Owen. However if I get down on my hands and knees and start playing with his toys they seem to be much more enjoyable to him. We are beginning to play hide and seek, which he's picking up rather quickly. He has a short attention span for books but I hope that will increase as I continue to read to him throughout the day and while he's in his booster seat eating.
He's also chewing apart his crib and trying to open the toilet seat lid.
